13: These people are false apostles. They have fooled you by disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
Galatians 1:7

- If someone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don't invite him into your house or encourage him in any way.
- Anyone who encourages him becomes a partner in his evil work.
Philippians 1:15
- Some are preaching out of jealousy and rivalry. But others preach about Christ with pure motives.
- They preach because they love me, for they know the Lord brought me here to defend the Good News.
Revelation 2:9
- "I know about your suffering and your poverty--but you are rich! I know the slander of those opposing you. They say they are Jews, but they really aren't because theirs is a synagogue of Satan.
Jude 1:4
- I say this because some godless people have wormed their way in among you, saying that God's forgiveness allows us to live immoral lives. The fate of such people was determined long ago, for they have turned against our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Galatians 6:12

Titus 1:10
- For there are many who rebel against right teaching; they engage in useless talk and deceive people. This is especially true of those who insist on circumcision for salvation.
- They must be silenced. By their wrong teaching, they have already turned whole families away from the truth. Such teachers only want your money.
1 Timothy 6:3
- Some false teachers may deny these things, but these are the sound, wholesome teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, and they are the foundation for a godly life.
- Anyone who teaches anything different is both conceited and ignorant. Such a person has an unhealthy desire to quibble over the meaning of words. This stirs up arguments ending in jealousy, fighting, slander, and evil suspicions.
- These people always cause trouble. Their minds are corrupt, and they don't tell the truth. To them religion is just a way to get rich.
Acts 15:1
- While Paul and Barnabas were at Antioch of Syria, some men from Judea arrived and began to teach the Christians: "Unless you keep the ancient Jewish custom of circumcision taught by Moses, you cannot be saved."
2 Timothy 3:5
- They will act as if they are religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. You must stay away from people like that.
- They are the kind who work their way into people's homes and win the confidence of vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by many desires.
- Such women are forever following new teachings, but they never understand the truth.
- And these teachers fight the truth just as Jannes and Jambres fought against Moses. Their minds are depraved, and their faith is counterfeit.
- But they won't get away with this for long. Someday everyone will recognize what fools they are, just as happened with Jannes and Jambres.
1 Timothy 4:1
- Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from what we believe; they will follow lying spirits and teachings that come from demons.
- These teachers are hypocrites and liars. They pretend to be religious, but their consciences are dead.
- They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanksgiving by people who know and believe the truth.
2 Corinthians 2:17
- You see, we are not like those hucksters--and there are many of them--who preach just to make money. We preach God's message with sincerity and with Christ's authority. And we know that the God who sent us is watching us.
Romans 16:18
- Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people.
2 Timothy 2:17
- This kind of talk spreads like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are examples of this.
- They have left the path of truth, preaching the lie that the resurrection of the dead has already occurred; and they have undermined the faith of some.
- But God's truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and "Those who claim they belong to the Lord must turn away from all wickedness."
Galatians 4:17
- Those false teachers who are so anxious to win your favor are not doing it for your good. They are trying to shut you off from me so that you will pay more attention to them.
1 Timothy 1:4
- Don't let people waste time in endless speculation over myths and spiritual pedigrees. For these things only cause arguments; they don't help people live a life of faith in God.
- The purpose of my instruction is that all the Christians there would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and sincere faith.
- But some teachers have missed this whole point. They have turned away from these things and spend their time arguing and talking foolishness.
- They want to be known as teachers of the law of Moses, but they don't know what they are talking about, even though they seem so confident.
2 Timothy 4:3
- For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to right teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever they want to hear.
- They will reject the truth and follow strange myths.
Matthew 25:24
- "Then the servant with the one bag of gold came and said, 'Sir, I know you are a hard man, harvesting crops you didn't plant and gathering crops you didn't cultivate.
